When a National Airlines flight crashes in Omaha, Nebraska, it looks like any other aviation accident until terrorists take credit and demand all US troops out of the middle-east. NTSB investigator, Zack Edwards is put in charge of the investigation and immediately problems begin to surface. When his first day yields a visit from both Homeland Security and the owner of National Airlines, he decides to talk to his boss regarding additional help.
After being called to Washington for a high level conference, Edwards is informed that chemist Daniel Farr is missing. Farr is responsible for designing some of the most dangerous military explosives and these may have fallen into terrorist hands. Edwards asks for help in the form of his mentor, former NTSB investigator Kevin Jensen, but in addition to Jensen, Edwards is assigned a female liaison from the Pentagon to oversee his every move.
As planes continue to fall out of the sky and the team is no closer to finding the terrorist cell, they call upon Colonel Ron Harbin. Harbin, now serving in Iraq, is called back to the states to track down the terrorists responsible.
The National Conspiracy, When Terror Strikes America, is the sequel to the 2006 thriller, Flight 412. It is filled with fast action and plot twists that will leave you wondering how safe you really are in your own country.
